Information - Measures Taken

Updated 22-06-2020

Statement Scottish Government

"On the basis and on the clear understanding with the industry that nothing can be absolutely guaranteed at this stage and that we may need to change this date if the evidence requires it, we would encourage tourism and hospitality businesses to prepare, within appropriate safety guidelines, for re-opening on 15 July.

Statutory reviews of the current restrictions are required on
18 June and 9 July. As things stand just now, our hope is that we will be able to give the go ahead to a re-opening of the sector at the 9 July review."
