When you drive in the Highlands you might find sheep on the road. Now is the season that all the lambs are also on the road. If you are driving and you see a lamb on one side of the road and mother sheep is on the other side please be carefull. The lamb will always, when a car is approaching, walk to his mom, it is their instinct. So please stop and give the lamb the time to cross the road.
If you are are walking with a dog in the Highlands and there are sheep or cows please keep you dog on a lead. In Scotland there is the law that a farmer can shoot your dog if your dog is without a lead on his land and the dog is worrying the sheep. So be careful and protect the sheep and your dog.
